2009 - The Year in Review
When I started this website, it opened up a whole new world for me and I have been fortunate enough to meet some wonderful women who also juggle many roles - wife, mother, homemaker, chef, personal shopper, chauffeur and many of them are also business owners or a professional to watch in their field. I think you can see that I love giving positive feedback on people and places that really deserve it. This page is dedicated to some terrific women and I just wanted to share some of the wonderful things that they do. Each month I will highlight a local women business owner. In February, look for a new "Woman to Watch".......stay tuned!

Meet Jennifer McKetrrick, Community Director for ProKids. ProKids is a nonprofit agency that works with abused and neglected foster children in Hamilton County. With the help of CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates), many of these children transition smoothly to a safe & nurturing permanent home. Jennifer is not only a wonderful advocate for ProKids foster children, she is also a local Mom and wife. She has three beautiful children (ages 19, 16 & 8). She's worked for ProKids for over eighteen years and still enjoys what she does. "The best part of my job is watching the extraordinary difference that people can make in the lives of children. We give people the knowledge that there is something that they can do: either working directly with our children, supporting those people in a variety of ways, or making a donation to continue our work and how those efforts change children's lives forever."
They also have some additional "fun" fundraisers coming up so you won't want to miss "The Perfect Party" on Nov. 7 at the Mayerson JCC in Amberly Village. You can find more inforrmation on their website, www.ProKids.org.

It took me awhile to find Dr. Endres but I am so
fortunate that I did. She has started a wonderful practice in the
heart of Montgomery. Her state-of-the-art office is beautiful and her
staff (especially Karen at the front desk) is outstanding. You are
treated so well at their office. Beyond how friendly, courteous and
professional her staff is, Dr. Endres is a terrific dentist. She
explains everything very well, and has these awesome computers that let
you see your x-rays up close and personal. I would highly recommend
Dr. Endres to anyone in need of dental care (from child to adult).
