There are so many great volunteer and service organizations that need our help but I wanted to focus on some that directly relate to kids. I actually finally took the plunge and am now a Troop Leader for a Brownie troop. It not only positively benefits my daughter by encouraging self esteem, being respectful of others, and instilling an excellent values system, but it also teaches me things such as patience, listening, and how to be a good role model (and it's FUN)!
The recent Mason Girl Scout Bake Off was a success. See some of the great cakes done by the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. | Daisy Scouts enjoying a snack
