Fitton Center for Creative Arts - Looking for fun art & music camps for kids this summer? You can find it at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts in Hamilton, Ohio. They have youth art camps, teen art camps, guitar camps, kids’ music camps, musical theater camps, a creative writing camp, and a contemporary dance workshop. With a total of 23 weeklong camps from June 20 – August 5, there is sure to be something that interests your kids! The Fitton Center offers a multiple class $10 discount if a camper signs up for more than one class or siblings sign up. From Balinese dance to sculpture to comic books, your child will experience new cultures and create something original to treasure. Mason-Deerfield Arts Alliance - www.masonarts.org - Call (513) 309-8585. The Mason-Deerfield Arts Alliance (MDAA) is now accepting registrations for their summer art camps. The MDAA will feature eight weeks of summer art camps at the Snyder House at Cottell Park, 5837 Irwin-Simpson Rd, Deerfield Township, beginning the week of June 13 and ending the week of July 25. These four day camps will run Monday - Thursday. The morning session will be from 9am -12pm. The afternoon session will be from 1pm - 4pm. Camps will encompass ages 5 - 16. All camps will be $95 per student, except for the Dramakinetics camp which will be $120 per student.

These summer art camps will explore various creative outlets, including a few examples are Eco-Friendly Art where kids will create various art project from recyclable materials. Summer Soul Camp for Girls will be for the 12 - 16 year olds. This camp explores artistic expression and self-discovery through multi-media art projects. Cartoon Domination is for the 8 - 12 year old. Students will become cartoonists for the week! They will learn how to develop a story board and design their own characters. The Book it! Read it! Create it! camp is for the 5 - 8 year old. Students will explore literature and the works of Charlie Harper, Vincent van Gogh, Eric Carle and many other artists and then create their own works of arts. This class fosters the love of reading and art.

10:00 – 12:00p.m., $60 (4 day series). This is the perfect camp for budding young chefs!  Children ages 5-10 will have an opportunity to make their own dishes and eat their creations. Each class will focus on one of our exciting topics and students will receive a recipe to discuss including cooking techniques and ingredients.  Next, they will compile a shopping list and shop the store for ingredients, then return to the Café where they will prepare the recipe.  All participants will receive a chef apron, “Chef in Training” name button, recipe cards and a chef hat.

Hamilton County Park District - Summer Day  Camps are for ages 4 - 17 years. There are many exciting camps being offered at various parks this summer. They can take a farm adventure at Parky’s Farm in Winton Woods by making new barnyard friends and planting crops, or they can spend the day at Sharon Woods going ‘creeking’ to discover pond life. There will also be hiking at Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve in search of wildlife and their habitats and a camp at Miami Whitewater Forest to see unique places inside the wetlands, woods, fields and prairies. They can even head to Winton Woods and go fishing, boating, hiking and biking, as well as climb a climbing wall, do low ropes and go canoeing at Adventure Outpost! Lake Isabella is also a great park where kids can cast a line and learn about fishing biology and conservation. Green Crest Golf Club - www.GreenCrestgolf.com - I love that Green Crest is family owned and operated and the owners are some of the nicest people I know. This summer they are offering some great golf lessons for kids (ages 5-14). The camps run for 3-4 day sessions. The Basics Camp is for ages 7-14 and is $85 for 4 days (June 20-23, July 18-21 & Aug. 1-4).  The Play Golf with the Pro Camp has 3 age groups and the kids play with the golf pro and a Miami University golfer offering a 3 hole play for ages 5-9, 6 hole play for ages 9-12 and 9 hole play for ages 12-17.
