When I started this website, it was like opening a Pandora's Box since I feel like I have to include everything I can think of, so I definitely don't want to leave out our local school systems' sporting events.  Since there are too many events/activities to list, below are websites for more information.

They have batting cages, and indoor field rentals.  Also have league play, camps and lessons on pitching, hitting, fielding or other aspects of the game (private and group available).

• Cincinnati Dragons - www.cincydragons.com - This is a select baseball league that has as many as 50 games in the Southwest Ohio League. Try outs required to play.

• Mason Youth Organization - www.masonyouth.org. P.O. Box 441, Mason, Ohio 45040 (Voice mail 513-573-1311)This is a non-profit group that has baseball and softball leagues for youth. You have to register with them to play.
  

• Pisgah Youth Organization - www.pyobaseball.org. Baseball, softball and t-ball leagues for ages 5 -18 years. All participants have a minimum mandatory playing time and bat in a continuous batting order (513-777-2765).

• Reds Rookie Success League - www.Redsyouthbaseball.com - The Reds Rookie Success League (RRSL) is a co-ed league for ages 6-12 and the nice thing is that it's non-competitive and gives at-risk kids the opportunity to play ball.  Also see their Miracle League which helps children with disabilities to be a part of the game - it is part of the "Adapted Baseball" program. 
  

• Swobat - (Southwest Baseball Academy & Training)   www.swobat.org. 9230 Port Union Rialto Rd., West Chester, Ohio 45069 (513-860-5828). "Directed by former professional baseball players Brian Conley and Mo Sanford. Brian and Mo have developed a well-organized plan with a comprehensive approach to teaching baseball to all young ball players in the tri-state area by "tailoring the instruction to the age, knowledge, and skill of the player". This facility and its instruction is available to anyone who wants to improve his or her baseball/ softball skills." - from Swobats website.

• Warren County Swarm - www.WarenCountySwarm.com - competitive select baseball league that is part of the Southwest Ohio Baseball League. Players are 9U, 11U & 12U. You must try out to be part of this league.
  

• AAU Girls' Basketball Club - The Cincinnati Angels - www.angelsbasketballclub.com. The Angels sponsor teams for 9U, 10U, 12U, 14U & 16U. Tryouts are by appointment only and you have to register online. All player fees are sponsored by the Angels, a fully funded non-profit organization.

• I-9 Sports - www.i9sports.com. I9 is a national program for kid's ages 3-14 years and. They offer sports for flag football, basketball, soccer, Lacrosse, cheerleading, baseball, softball, golf, volleyball & hockey. Check out their website to see what local programs are offered in your area.

• Southwest Ohio Basketball - www.swohiosports.com - Boys and girls basketball leagues.  Boys 9U to 17 U and Girls 10U to 14U.
  

• Upward Sports Ministry - www.cincyupward.com. This is a Christian based sports organization that has teams for flag football, basketball and cheerleading.  They serve Butler, Warren & Hamilton counties.  If you join Upward, everyone gets a chance to play the game.  You also need to register by certain deadlines to play.
  

• Cheer Workshop - www.cheerworkshop.com - Cheer, tumbling and stunt instruction.  Ages 4-18 years.  They have various training levels and are part of the CWS Saints, a competitive dance and cheer squad.  Additionally they have a a hip-hop dance team. • Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy - www.cincinnatigymnastics.com - Gymnastics classes, a variety of gymastic teams, summers camps, Firecracker camp, birthday parties and more.  3635 Woodridge Blvd., Fairfield, Ohio. 513-860-3082.

• Flip & Twist Gymastics - www.flipntwist.com. 25-A Enterprise Dr., Hamilton, Ohio 45015 (513-942-4435). They offer a free trial class and have Preschool Gymastics (18mos-6years), Recreational Gymnastics (6 years & older), and Competitive USA Gymnastics and Competitive Rec. Gymnastics.

• Gym-Nation - www.gym-nation.com. 836 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040 (513-229-7315).  This is a one-stop shop for gymnastics, tumbling and cheerleading. They offer program for ages 15 months and up. They do gymnastic themed birthday parties if you have some energetic youngsters to entertain.

• Pride Athletics - www.prideathleticsallstars.com. 1087A Janet Way Suite 13/14, Lebanon, Ohio 45036 (513-228-1234). New students can try a free tumbling class.  This is a brand new 13,000 sq. ft. cheerleading, tumbling, and dance facility.

• The Little Gym® - www.thelittlegym.com. 7318 Yankee Road
  Middletown, OH 45044. (513-777-1110). This is a great place to go for gymnastics, movement & karate classes.  They have programs for age's infant to 12 years. They offer free introductory classes to see if it would be a fit for your child.  Great place for a fun birthday party too.

• TNT - Tumble, Cheer & Dance LLC - www.tnttumble.com - 110 Grandin Road, Mainveille, Ohio 45039. 513-677-3700. They have a renovated 10,000 square foot facility and they offer tumbling, cheer, fitness classes, hip hop and much more. They also do birthday parties.

Cincinnati Recreation Commission - www.cincygolf.org. The CRC offers junior golf league play as well as lessons. If you have a young golfer they can join the CRC Youth Golf Association (YGA) for only $6 and then they get discounts for play ($6.00 at any of the CRC golf courses).  They also have Junior League Play for ages 10-16 and there is the CRC Junior Open Golf tournament.  The CRC golf courses include Avon Fields Golf Course, California Golf Course, Dunham Golf Course, Glenview Golf Course, Neumann Golf Course, Reeves Golf Course, & Woodland Golf Course.

Comet Golf League - Register by May 22 for summer golf league for Mason 5th through 8th grade boys & girls. Hosted by Michelle Lipka, M.H.S. Boys Varsity Golf Coach.  More info at cometgolf.blog.com. Wed. afternoons in June & July.

• Meadow Links & Golf Academy - www.hamiltoncountyparks.org/rec_meadow/ml_jrlessons.htm. Part of our wonderful Hamilton County Park system, Meadow Links allows junior golfers to play for FREE when accompanied by a paying parent, weekdays after 5 p.m. at Little Miami Golf Center and weekends after 5 p.m. at the other Park District courses. They also have junior golf leagues.

• Cincinnati Amateur Hockey Association - www.cincinnatihockey.org. For ages 4-18 years, the CAHA is sanctioned by USA Hockey. "CAHA exists to teach teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship, integrity and self-confidence through hockey instruction, competition and play." - per the CAHA website. They have a nice "Learn to Play" hockey program which gives your child a chance to experience hockey to see if it is a fit for them and it is affordable.  Please see their website for more details or call 513-777-1700.
  

• Comet Skippers - www.cometskippers.org - This is a competivite jump rope team located in Mason. The jumpers range from third graders through college. They are members of USA Jump Rope, The International Rope Skipping Federation and AAU USA. 

• I-9 Sports - www.i9sports.com. I9 is a national program for kid's ages 3-14 years and. They offer sports for flag football, basketball, soccer, Lacrosse, cheerleading, baseball, softball, golf, volleyball & hockey. Check out their website to see what local programs are offered in your area.

• Mason Lacrosse Club - www.masonlacrosse.net. Lacrosse club for students who live in or attend the Mason City School district. Open to boys and girls in grades 2 to 8. 
  

• Velocity Lacrosse & Sports - www.velocitylacrossed.com. 107 W. Maint St., Mason, OHio 45040 (513-754-2299). They offer camps, clinics and leagues. 
  

• Cincinnati United - cincyunited.com. Players, ages 8 to 18 years,  from Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties compete. You must try out to be a part of this soccer club.  See their website for dates/times (tryouts are late May/Early June).
  

• Dave Woeste Soccer School - www.davewoestesoccer.com. On a personal side, my daughter, Kaitlin, has had soccer classes with Coach Dave Woeste and he is wonderful.  He really makes every child feel special and that empowers them to enjoy the game of soccer and be proud of what they are doing no matter what their skill level is.  Please check out his classes at Lifetime Fitness as well as through the Countryside YMCA. He also is part of the Warren County Soccer Club (see below).

• Lil' Kickers - www.lilkickers.com. (513-825-1902). This is a national soccer program for ages 18 months to 9 years and it offers a non-competitive early introduction to soccer.  They have various levels based on the age of the child. There are facilities in Tri-County, Mason, Fairfield, and Cincinnati West (Cleves).

• Ohio Elite Soccer Academy - www.ohioelite.com. Soccer club for ages U8-U18. See their website for more information.

• Soccer Association for Youth (SAY Soccer) - There are many local ohio chapters.  See www.saysoccer.org for local leagues in your area. 
• Mason Say Soccer - www.masonsoccer.org. PO Box 28, Mason, Ohio 45040. Fax: 459-9146, SAY Hotline 513-459-1729.  You need to register by the Say Soccer deadlines in order to get your child on a team.  Make sure you check their website for dates.

• Thunder United Metro - www.thunderunitedmetro.com. Volunteer-run soccer organization that has competitive soccer for kids.  Select soccer try-outs are happening late May/early June 2009.  See their website for more information. 513-934-6311. Member of the Cincinnati United Soccer League
  (CUSL) and the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA).

• Warren County Soccer Club - www.wcsoccerclub.com. WCSC Hotline: 513-588-0885 or info@wcsoccerclub.com. "The Warren County Soccer Club (WCSC), the area's premier club, is a member of the region's most competitive league, the Cincinnati United Soccer League (CUSL), which is a member of the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA). WCSC let's players learn from the area's most experienced coaches and trainers as they develop soccer skills in a family atmosphere where the needs of the player come first.  WCSC sponsors both boys and girls teams from U-8 thru U-19 ages. The Warren County Soccer Club serves Warren County, Ohio and surrounding communities. Board and Club meetings are held regularly." (per their website). Countryside Torpedos - www.cytorpedoes.com. Swim team for ages 6-18 years of all ability levels.  They have 6 practice groups based on age. Competes in the Southwest Ohio YMCA Swim League.  Tryouts are held before each swim season. For the winter, there are tryouts is Sept. and for the summer, tryouts are in April. Mason Manta Rays - www.mantarays.imarket247.com/aboutus.htm. This is a competitive swim team with a variety of group levels (from a pre-competitive Pups group to competitive groups). You need to be evaluated prior to joining. Their next tryouts will be at the end of July.  Check their website for more information.

Mason Water Moccasins - www.masonwatermocs.org. Informational Meeting -  Community Center Competition Pool, Wednesday, April 22
7:30 - 8:30 p.m. This is one of 10 teams that make up the Tri-County Swim League.  Contact head coach, Trish Powers at masonwatermocs@gmail.com for more information.

• McGee's Courts 4 Sports - www.courts4sports.com - Offering youth girls and boys volleyball programs. Youth leagues for grades 3 through 8 as well as youth skills clinics, youth training teams (5th-8th grade), K-2nd grade volleyball classes and preschool gym classes.  Register on their website or contact Ginger or Ron at 770-0667 or Ron@courts4sports.com.
  

• Sports Express Volleyball Center - www.sportsexpressvb.com. 5280 State Route 741, Mason, Ohio 45040 - 513-398-2400. This is all about volleyball for youth and adults. They have summer camps, volleyball clinics and youth leagues - info@SportsExpressVB.com.

Wake Nation - www.wakenation.com. This is a new wave sports plex with wakeboarding, kneeboards and wake-skating.  Instead of using boats, there is a cable-pulley system.  It is only one of seven wakeboarding parks in the country. Cost is $20/hour or $35 for an all day pass.  Season passes are $500.  See their website for online coupons and deals. • Mason Youth Wrestling - masonyouthwrestling.com - MYW is a private non-profit sports group serving the students of the Mason school district.  It helps prepare students to compete for Mason schools.  They offer year round training, summer camps, tournaments and more.  513-509-1603 or email john@masonyouthwrestling.com.
  

SPORT CENTERS FOR KIDS

Kids First Sports Center - www.kidsfirstsports.com. 7900 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249 (513-489-7575).  I haven't done any programs here but it has a smorgasbord of sports programs for children from gymnastics, karate, & basketball to swimming, dance and Zumba.  

McGee's Courts 4 Sports - www.courts4sports.com. 854 Reading Rd., Mason, Ohio 45040 (513-770-0667). This is a multi-sport facility with facilities for basketball, volleyball, wrestling, martial arts, aerobics, cheerleading, ballet, soccer, lacrosse, football and rugby.  

• Preschool Gym Classes - Now offering preschool gym classes (ages 3-5 years). Kids can enjoy having fun and learning and doing different sports -  Basketball, Soccer, Football, Baseball, Golf, Hockey and Volleyball. $50 for each 6 week session.  To register call 770-0667 or email Ginger at Ginger@courts4sports.com. 854 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040

Another multi-sports facility with batting cages, basketball courts, arcade games and more.  Birthday party packages also available with fun inflatable rides provided by Party Hoppers.

Wall2Wall Soccer - www.wall2wallsoccer.com. 846 Reading Rd., Mason, Ohio 45040.  (513-573-9898).  Indoor soccer fields with batting cages, and they offer competition space for soccer, football, Lacrosse, baseball, flag football, dodge ball, ultimate frisbee and slow pitch softball.
