"Great dessert to take to a pot-luck."

  • 35 Oreo Cookies - finely crushed (about 3 cups)
  • 6 tbsp. butter or margarine melted
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cold milk
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Cool Whip - thawed and divided
  • 3 1/4 cup cold milk
  • 2 pkgs. (4 serving size) instant chocolate pudding

Mix crushed cookies and butter.  Press firmly into bottom of 9x13 pan and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, 2 tbsp. milk in bowl until well blended.Gently stir in 1 1/4 cup of Cool Whip. Spread over crust.
Pour 3 1/4 cups milk into bowl. Add pudding mixes and beat until well blended. Pour over cream cheese layer. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Spread remaining Cool Whip over top.

Looks really festive with crushed candy cane sprinkled over the top.
