Yee haw, if gittin your cowgirls and cowboys gussied up for a day of fun at an "authentic Dodge City Wild West town" then you need to
stampede ride on over to The Old West Festival. This family fun adventure is only here for a short engagement - only open on Saturdays and Sundays beginning Sept. 11 through October 10. There's something to interest everyone in the family.

Tyke Frontier - Enjoy face painting, games, playing on the playset, pony rides ($5/rider), the Abigail Express train ride ($1/child 12 and under, $3/adults), covered wagon rides ($3/adult), and panning for gold.
Shows - So many great shows to see - gun fight re-enactments, Long Branch saloon shows, The Villain's Deception (a melodrama), Professor Faris' Magic Show, and The Mockingbird Theatre Company - Western Traveling Medicine Show.
Entertainment - Lots of great music, shows and more to see and do.
Crafts - Hopefully panning for gold pays off since there will be lots of wonderful crafts and artisans on hand selling their wares.
Food - Yummy food is always a bonus in the Old West - Kettle Corn, rattlesnake chili, Doc's barbecue chicken, sweet potato fries, ice cream and more.
Admission is $10/adults, $6/child ages 6-12 and free/5 and under. They even have season ticket options for those who want to come back for more fun. But if you visit their website in August, they are offering 20% off their adult general admission prices.
