MasonMetu™ Blog
Here you’ll find my blog where I write about some of my own experiences as a Mom as well as post some awesome giveaways. I’ll highlight certain features of MasonMetu that you might like to check out.
Thank you for reading my blog posts. I hope you can laugh along with me, preferably not at me. :) I've had fun writing the posts and I've found it is a great way to journal moments in our lives. One day when my girls are older, I'll be able to share these posts with them.
On some browsers (Internet Explorer), you may need to click on the current blog post in order to see the ghosts of blogs past - then it opens back up into the main blog page and you have to scroll down again for all the posts. I know it's a bit confusing but I'm not quite sure how to work that bug out of the system yet.
How to leave a comment on a post:
If you'd like to leave a comment on a blog, please click on the title of the article you are reading, then scroll down and you'll find the place to leave the comment.
Thank you for viewing and for your support!

Woe Is Me!
Turning 40 is a BIG deal but surviving riding Firehawk is even bigger. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I asked my friend, LP, to go with me to Kings Island last week. Kids in school? Check! Beautiful day with no humidity? Check! Moms ready to ride? Check! No lines? Priceless. Kings Island and I go way way back. I fondly remember the days when I would don that oh so flattering Bavarian frock and joyously serve park patrons puff pastry, cotton candy and funnel cakes. It was... Continue reading ...

It Can Be Done! No cable and internet for 2 weeks.
Visiting the Strong Museum of Play, Rochester, NY This was part of the Sesame Street DisplayWe're finally back from a two week hiatus – we visited Central New York's Finger Lake Region for our annual family adventure. I love it there since I have so many fond childhood memories revolving around Owasco Lake and visiting my grandma in Auburn, NY. Returning as an adult, I get to relive the fun through my girls. Seeing them joyously jump into the lake no matter how cold it is takes me back to... Continue reading ...
