Disclosure Statement (boring, I know but I thought I'd better add this too) -
MasonMetu does accept paid advertising on its site. But the paid advertisers are selected and screened to make sure there is an appropriate place to include them. MasonMetu also utilizes Affiliate Advertisers in the MasonMetu Marketplace as well as on other pages on the site. If someone purchases a product through one of the affiliate advertisers, MasonMetu may get a small commission based on the sale. MasonMetu can not be held liable for any product purchased via its website. Any warranties or problems with purchased product, must be handled through the affiliate advertiser used.
Kristin Goecke also writes articles for Associated Content. The articles I write are based on my own experiences and opinions. Associated Content does pay its writers for content (but I think I have to have over 1000 page views per article to make $1.50). I do not write the articles for the money, instead, I write the articles so that I can share my thoughts and experiences with others. I like to positively promote many people, places and things and Associated Content allows me the forum to do so. If you have any opinions you'd like to share, think about signing up as a contributor with Associated Content.
MasonMetu may also receive complimentary admission tickets to events and venues and we may also offer give aways to our viewers. As a member of the media, these offers are given as a way to help promote an activity or event or product. MasonMetu is a positive resource for families and if the event, venue or product does not meet my standards, I will not post the information. I will still share my honest opinion of the event or product offered for review.
