Having fun at Sports Plus arcade.
If your family enjoys winning those paper tickets that you then turn in for a beautiful plastic necklace, plastic spider or small rubber ball (choking hazard, avoid those) then you'll want to check out some of the arcades we've been too. They are actually fun if it's a rainy day or a night when you want to get out with the family. Give your kids $5.00 and that should keep them occupied for at least 45 minutes (well at least for the 4-5 year old age range it does). You might have to up the ante if you have older ones.
My five year old has more fun putting the paper tickets into those machine readers that count how many tickets you have then playing the actual games - go figure. Sometimes the adults get to join in on the fun, as we hop on one of those motorcycles, join a car race, or play skiball.

Dave and Busters - www.daveandbusters.com. 11775 Commons Drive Springdale, OH 45246 (513-671-5501). D&B claims to be the "place where you can eat, drink and play". I'd say that is true. You'll probably want to go to D&B with school age kid's since there is more to appeal to them then the young ones and it might be better to go during the day or early evening. But they have bowling, a huge arcade, pool tables and plenty of fun times to go around.
Great Wolf Lodge - www.greatwolf.com. 2501 Great Wolf Drive, Mason, OH 45040 (513.459.8885). You don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy many of the things this hotel has to offer. We've made a family night out of it. First you can go to the Northern Lights Arcade for plenty of fun games to play. There is something here to appeal to almost any age. We then might grab a pizza at the Pizza Hut Express or go upstairs and eat at the Critter Grill (they have the cutest kid's meal presentation - they're served in these metal buckets). The food is actually pretty good. If you time it right, you can catch the 8:00 clock tower show where the woodland creatures come to life with singing and a positive message for your youngsters to take away. You can stick around for the 8:15 story time then head for home. Hopefully, the kids will be ready to zonk out after all the excitement!
Sports Plus - www.sportsplusohio.com. 10765 Reading Rd
Cincinnati, OH 45241, (513-252-2320). This is a mecca for all things fun (arcade, small indoor amusement rides, large indoor play tunnel/slides, b-ball courts, mini bowling, ice skating, etc.) There is a Pizza Hut onsite so you can grab a bite to eat while you're there. My girls really have fun when we visit. I got them each a $10 card and they were able to go on the ride you see in the picture at the top of the page, run in the climbing gym and play plenty of arcade games. You can also purchase an all you can ride wristband for $7/child and they can go on the rides and go in the climbing gym as many times as they want (there are only a few rides so keep that in mind).
